What is the process of the Business School MBA application?

Im currently a BA and graduated in 2010 is December or June 2011 depending on the amount of summer classes I take, I want to be in graduate school from September 2011. My two best choices are Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management. I currently attend Suffolk University and has a 3 / 4 GPA. I realize that I must take the GMAT, but I just want to know how long before graduate school should I take and any other information.
